Penang Halal Logistics Networking Seminar will be held on August 10, 2010 (Tuesday) at Penang Sills Development Centre (PSDC), Bayan Baru. The event is organized by the Penang State Government Trade Committee, through its dedicated Halal facilitation agency, PIHH Development Sdn Bhd (Halal Penang).

Penang Halal Logistics Networking Seminar is an event specially organized for entrepreneurs and business owners,academia's, manufacturers, exporters and traders in food & beverage, pharmaceuticals & cosmetics, logistic companies and service providers.

HALAL LOGISTICS : The tract will feature the process of managing the material flow and information flow throughout the supply chain in accordance to the Halal standard. The material flow covers the transport, storage and terminal operations. While the information flow covers the management of the data in the supply chain, such as product information, demand data, and Halal logistics label and code.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT : The tract will feature the global outlook, updates on standards and best practices in the provision of Halal intrgrated supply chain and logistics management to enhance the Halal traceability and protect the integrity of Halal supply chain.

The seminar promises to be informative and add avalue from the sharing of knowledge and expertise by speakers from the logistics industry sharing insights on the global outlook and updates on standards and best practices in the provision of Halal integrated supply chain management.
